I am always in awe of the power of the sea. This painting is inspired by the many beaches in New South Wales, Australia where huge breakers leave you in no doubt of the immense forces at play. Even more remarkable is watching surf boarders who seem effortlessly to master the waves. Personally I will stick to watching from the beach with a cold beer.
