Description
My first completed painting of 2024. The New Year is a time for wishing peace on earth for all. Sadly the reality is that mankind seems enamoured with war as witnessed by the prevalence of conflicts across the globe. In this painting I am attempting to evoke a powerful message of peace and trying to capture a heartfelt hope that humankind can one day destroy all weapons and allow the dove of peace find its wings.
Original painting unframed – acrylic on mdf board – 35.5 cm wide x 45.5cm high x 4mm thick.
